It should be maintained, instead of cutting it in half with a loading screen. The "tube slide" transition has very good atmosphere. Overall, its awesome! I look forward to the final product! I really like it, and the idea that I'm playing through the eyes of a child is very convincing.ĭo you have any idea what length you're aiming for this game? I really like the puzzle potential with moving objects around and such too - are there additional mechanics at work or are you leaving that as a surprise? The atmosphere you've created here is fantastic. I was just wondering how many graphics options I would be able to tinker with in the final release.Īnd last but not least, when can we expect release?! I definitely wanted more after trying this build, and would certainly consider being a backer. Is there a chance the final release might have some more graphics options added in for those of us running on less-than-modern machines? My laptop was able to play it, but it only got about 15 FPS even on low (I need to upgrade, I know). On the whole this is a minor complaint, and it's easy to forgive an indie developer doing a game this original for some shoddy voice work here and there. I'm aware there wasn't a whole lot of it, but just the mother in the beginning sounded a bit unrealistic and silly. I know this is an early build so there is potential for re-recording - but honestly I find the voice acting to be a bit of a low note in this otherwise great demo. However, I did notice there were a couple of times where I was trying to climb up on a chair or table and it took several clicks to get it to work. A few comments/questions:įor the most part, this alpha was impressively glitch-free for me. I've been following this game for a while and it made me so happy to see I could finally try it, mostly because I was worried my laptop may not be able to run it.
